hi, i'm the doula.
My name is Morgan, and I’m a Full Spectrum Doula and Lactation Support Educator in Denver, Colorado. I feel strongly about helping parents-to-be and new families navigate their pregnancies, births, and postpartum period with confidence, education, and joy, and I want to help you have a birth experience that you can feel amazing about!
My path to becoming a doula wasn’t exactly planned — it began at a friend’s baby shower that took an unexpected turn when she went into labor early.
While everyone else was in full panic mode, I somehow became the calm one — organizing towels, timing contractions, and guiding her through breathing exercises I’d only vaguely remembered from a documentary. By the time her actual doula arrived, I was fully in “birth mode.”
Between contractions, my friend looked at me and said, “You should really do this for a living.” That moment stuck with me. A few months (and a lot of research) later, I enrolled in doula training — and never looked back.
When I’m not talking about childbirth education or coaching my clients through contractions, you can find me hanging out with my family, walking my pup through the forest, or snuggled up on my couch with a blanket and a good book.

what is doula support?
As a doula, I work with clients to support them throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. What does this mean? It means I’m here, day or night, to provide you with continuous care, comfort, encouragement, and guidance throughout the entire process. Wondering what that cramp you just felt was? Curious if you can eat that funny cheese? I’m here for you. During pregnancy, I’ll provide you with gentle guidance and informational support and be the judgement-free voice that you need.
When the big day comes, I’ll be by your side from the first contractions until your baby is in your arms. No matter what kind of birth you’re planning or how many times that plan needs to change, I’ll help you understand your options, ensure that your preferences are upheld and respected, and make sure that your partner is hands-on, involved, and supported, too. My only goal for your birth is to help you have a positive and fulfilling birth experience.
After baby is born, I’ll be close by to help you recover, to support your family, and to help you learn to care for your new baby. With a doula on your team, you’ll never feel alone or need to wonder what comes next.

Postpartum Guidance
Prenatal appointments are a critical component of doula support. These meetings serve as opportunities to discuss your questions, preferences, and any concerns or fears you may have about labor and delivery. I’ll share evidence-based information and education about the details of childbirth, including the stages of labor, pain management techniques, and everything else! These sessions help us build a closer relationship, fostering trust and understanding.
When your labor begins, I’m right there with you, providing unwavering emotional, physical, and informational assistance. I’ll work closely with you and your partner to create a serene and empowering birthing environment. Throughout the process, I’ll suggest different comfort measures, help you find optimal positions, and guide your partner to be your ideal support. My aim is to be a steady and reassuring presence, ensuring you feel supported, informed, and confident in making choices that align with your birth plan.
In the postpartum period, my role as a doula extends to providing valuable guidance and support as you navigate the joys and challenges of early parenthood. I’ll be by your side to assist with breastfeeding, answer questions about newborn care, and offer emotional support. Whether it’s helping you establish a feeding routine, providing practical tips for soothing your baby, or simply lending a listening ear, I’m here to ensure you feel confident and well-supported as you embark on your parenting journey.
